What is a kava bar?

A kava bar is a sober-social lounge that serves kava and other botanical drinks instead of alcohol — think a coffee shop crossed with a bar, minus the booze. You come to unwind, hang out, and actually connect.

Is it a bar? Do you serve alcohol?

No alcohol at all. Every drink is plant-based — kava and kratom. All the hangout, none of the hangover.

Do I have to drink kava?

Not at all. We also pour kratom teas, cold brews, coffee, and non-active sodas and snacks. Plenty of people come mostly for the vibe.

Is it family friendly?

It's very friend-and-family in spirit, but it's an 18+ lounge — you must be 18 or older.

Is it legal & safe?

Is it legal & safe?

Is kava legal in Arizona?

Yes. Kava is legal to buy and drink in Arizona and across the U.S.

Is kratom legal in Arizona?

Yes. Kratom is legal in Arizona, which adopted the Kratom Consumer Protection Act to keep products tested and honestly labeled. You must be of legal age to buy it.

Is it safe?

Enjoyed responsibly, both are traditional botanicals people have used for generations. Start low, don't mix them with alcohol or other sedatives, and ask our staff to guide you. Not for use if you're pregnant or nursing; talk to your doctor if you take daily medication. We make no medical claims.

Can I drive after?

Both can be relaxing — kava especially in larger amounts — so never drive if you feel any effects, and never combine them with alcohol. Use your judgment.

What should I order first?

A House Kava (Single) if you want calm, or a Small kratom tea if you want a lift. Tell staff your vibe and they'll dial it in.

What does kava feel like?

A calm, sociable ease within 15–20 minutes — relaxed body, quieter mind, still clear-headed. Present, not impaired.

What does kratom feel like?

It depends on the strain and amount — bright and energizing at smaller servings, mellow and calming at larger ones.

I didn't feel anything my first time — why?

That's common with kava — it's called reverse tolerance. Many people 'get it' after a few visits. Our staff can also help you find the right strength.

Still curious?

Just come hang.

The easiest way to get it is to walk in and ask. Our staff love helping first-timers find their thing.
